view "progress"

I am working on my thesis. It is a big project, so I might write somethier here and there in the project.
I wish see a page where all the newly written stuff as well as the result of revision is shown. I might then copy and paste them in a Word programme.

I think the Outline view will accomplish most of what you want.

In the View -> Outliner Columns menu, select “Modified Date.” Then, in the Outline view in the editor window, click on the Modified Date column to sort by it. This will sort the most recently changed files to the top (or bottom) of the list, without changing the actual structure of the document.

Next, select the documents you’re interested in in the Outline view (not the Binder) and select View -> Scrivenings. From there, you can print, copy and paste, or generate a Word document using the Compile feature.

Note that this will give you the most recently changed documents, but will not highlight the specific changes that you made. To do that, you would need to compare to a previously generated snapshot. (Snapshots are discussed in Step 5g of the interactive tutorial.)

Thank you for using Scrivener,

Katherine
