We Have to Talk About Kevin.

A Belated Happy birthday, Master Kevin Blount.
Have you decided on a proper job yet?

Fluff

Thanks! That’s a scarily accurate portrait…

A proper job? You mean the beer?

Scratches head…isn’t Count Blount on the Mount called Keith rather than Kevin?

Happy Birthday, of course. But I’m still confused.

I am, but I get called Kevin so often by users who presumably only glance at my name before replying, that its become a running joke… My signature even used to say ā€œ(Not Kevin)ā€ after my name, but it didn’t help.

Yay! Happy Birthday!

Kronenbourg Blanc will be drunk in your honour!

Ah, I’m obviously not running fast enough. HB, Keith. Had seen the ā€œnot Kevinā€ in posts, but wrongly assumed that there was also a developer called Kevin who you were keen not to be confused with. Now understand that Kevin is a misreading of your name. I’m just starting to jog along!

Could have been worse. Could have been Kylie. (You should be so lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky.)

A good Scottish name all the way down in Kernow—Scottish roots?

Yo Mac.
Let’s cut through the crap…eh? Kevin is the developer of Scriv…period!
Keith is his older, attention seeking brother, that drinks a lot, smokes a lot…spliffs+++ ect. etc. And has a fetish for juvenile science fiction/fantasy stuff. OK? Good!

PS Happy Birthday Kev

Happy birthday! (Hah, still Monday, here. Which is good, because it’s still your birthday, yet it’s Monday.)

Happy Birthday.

(I miss ā€œgruff and quirky since 2007ā€.)

A very Happy birthday to the intrepid Cocoa coder!

I think he’s got a lot of time on his hands at the moment.

GET BACK TO THE NOVEL, BLOUNT

happy birthday, keith.

A belated happy birthday, Keith!

Happy birthday!

Even though here in the Land of the Great Firewall, and we’re 7 to 8 hours ahead of the UK … and the shambolic way things can go on here so that I missed young Keith’s birthday … may I still wish our intrepid cocoa-coder many more happy years of showing the rest of the world what apps should be like.

Mark

I’m sorry I missed this until it was rather late, but happy birthday anyway. (Even if you can’t pronounce your own name  )

All best wishes,
Martin.

Many thanks all for the kind wishes!

You have to bear in mind my initials - I had to be very insistent at school that my friends used the correct pronunciation to point out that their spoonerism didn’t work.

Ah! Now I understand! There’s an explanation for everything, as my analyst might say.

Martin.
