web link keyboard shortcut?

Hi all,

Is there any keyboard shortcut for entering a web link? Or do I just have to go to the menu each time? (I’ve looked and can’t seem to find a shortcut if one exists.)

thanks,
eric

There isn’t one, but you can add one yourself in the usual way, using the Keyboard & Mouse System Preferences.

Thank you very much. Also, one other question: Is there any way to easily strip out formatting when I cut and paste into Scrivener? (I often clip things from the Web–including headlines from news articles–and end up with 24 pt. font and then have to highlight and change the font size manually.)

And btw, I just found Scrivener and I loooove it. I’m a journalist, often work on long projects and its been a god-send for organizing my stuff.

best,
eric

To paste using the destination style rather than the copied style, use Edit > Paste and Match Formatting (opt-shift-cmd=V !).

Thanks for your kind words about Scrivener!

Best,
Keith
