Web links in "Reader" view or without ads

Hello,

if I drop webpages or other internet resource in my research folder, it is difficult to work with them because of all the advertising flashing while I am in split screen mode.

Is it possible to have in scrivener something like an ad blocking for this or something like Safaris “Reader” view or like readability.

All the best!

All Scrivener can do is grab the web page; however, what you could do is use Documents > Convert to convert the web document to a text document, and delete anything you don’t want from the text, which should do what you want.

All the best,
Keith

You can “print” the Safari “Reader” view to PDF, then add that PDF to your project.

Hello,

thanx for your reply - I am aware of this “workaround” and this is the way I am handling it at the moment. As things are I am using the build in browser just for easily checking a link - which is good. I just wished to have a more “powerful” webbrowser in scrivener.

But if it is not possible than I am fine with “printing to pdf.”

All the best!
