Weird message - how do I re-educate project?

This strange message is coming up in the middle of a project where I want to add text. How do I re-educate the project to act normal?

I think you’ve turned on a script writing mode.

In Windows, I can toggle a script mode from the Format menu: Format -> Script Writing -> Script Mode

See if there is something similar on the Mac.
