What I am noticing[BUG LOGGED]

Add text : Accepts indent and font assigned using Edit>options. Close program down and re-open and the indents are gone. Font back to the default when appending new words.

Edit>options : The ‘apply’ button doesn’t seem to acknowledge that it has been depressed (change colour perhaps).

CTRL/SHIFT/T : Gives total word count, no problem. I set a target earlier in this current session, minimised the window; after one page looked at the progress, both word counts had set themselves back at zero and the green bars both chasing left to right.
If I add the counts and close the window it retains the values.

Spell checker: If a word is in italics the spell checker highlights it as an error - eg. shouldn’t is in the checker, but it doesn’t like shouldn’t - perhaps because of the italicized apostrophe?

On a couple of occasions I’ve added new text to a folder, switched to another text, returned and ‘found the new text has relocated itself into the trash!’

Otherwise it’s good!

(running latest beta on both win764 (PC) and vista32 (Lap) - identical settings)

I’ve just posted a ‘4th Nov - Lee’s Update’ - in the announcement section. Many of these issues have been addressed.

Which version of the beta are you running by the way?

Lee

I am using what I understood to be the latest, but as mentioned elsewhere it is a little difficult to be absolutely certain cos of the lack of “help about”. I downloaded on the 3rd.

New today.

Scroll to the foot of the text box. Append text.
Switch to another window and return.

Appended text not there - but when I start to re-type it it, it re-appears (slowly). Is there on full-screen, but not when minimised.

Disconcerting. :exclamation:
(beta 1.2)

Did you get the 1.2 update here? ***29th OCT - CURRENT BETA 1.2 IS VERSION HERE***

Just replace the current EXE with the one you download there. If you’ve already done that, you’ve got 1.2. It is a pain to figure out which version you have easily. I think we can expect that to be added eventually.

Good luck!

Okay, thanks. I’m logging this as a bug.
