It calls itself “The cutest writing tool for scriveners.”
Hmmm.
The developer is a German with an almost-pretty-good command of English; he may not understand “cute” in quite the way we do – he might have intended, rather, “clever” or even “nice,” depending on which German adjective he had in mind. As for “scriveners,” well, it COULD be a coincidence.

I guess, he wrote his text in German and used a Gernan-English dictionary for translating it.
Almost all the G-E dictionaries I know list “scrivener” as the equivalent to “Berufsschreiber”, i.e. professional writer.
