Where are my project notes?

When I go to edit/link to document/MY PROJECT FILE NAME, it merely inserts a link in my document. I’m having endless problems with this vs and, by the looks of all the new support requests, this thing is totally buggy. I want to roll back to vs2. Please tell me how to do so.

What were you expecting a command which says ‘link to document’ to do, other than link to a document?

And what does this have to do with the title of your thread?

If you want help, then give people enough information to help you.

Your signature says you have Windows but you have posted in the Mac part of the forum, so which is it?

In vs 2, you could open your project notes which are notes global to the project.
Now, it only inserts a link. I’m running OS.

Project notes in Scrivener 3 are discussed here:

The behavior you are seeing is not a bug, it’s a redesigned feature.

To roll back to version 2, simply download and install it. Use Scrivener 3’s File -> Export -> As Scrivener 2 Project to revert your projects to the old format.

If you haven’t already seen it, a very useful upgrade guide for Scrivener 2 users can be found here:
