I recently re-titled a book before I finished. I changed the name of the project to the new name, and I put the new name in the “Title” field in the metadata…but when I upload the recompiled EPUB to Google Play Books for reading, it still pops up with the old title, not the new one.
Is there somewhere I forgot to change it? How do I fix this?
If you create a new, blank project, and drag the relevant files from the current project to the new one, does it still give you this problem? I’m thinking what happens to you happens because of something in the non-document files, and should be fixed if you try and compile with a brand-new project. Of course, I could be wrong.
Really depends on what you mean by “it”. The name of the file that comes out at the other end? The title page? The header on each page?
What happens if you compile to PDF? Where is the old title still showing up with regards to that file?
