Yeah. Long time Linux user, but new to being an author. Tried the .deb, the Wine, the Bottles, probably sticking with LibreOffice and venturing into Manuskript.

As several users have mentioned in other threads, there is an Appimage version corresponding to the latest official version of Linux. It is old but fully functional. I have used it since then due to the lack of a more updated version:
