Absolutely everybody is telling us that Scrivener must be integrated with AI or I’ll fall behind and be pointed at by real writers in the street who know where the future is and are fully onboard the AI Express, and frankly I’m worried to death that my devices just aren’t up to the challenge.
So I’ve pre-ordered this:
Has it got enough RAM for ScAIrivener 4, or should I have waited until October when 512TB will be available?
Hmmm. I’d probably order five to ten of them and build a cluster. Gives you some wiggle room that should even be able to run Scrivener 5 with maybe two or three open browser tabs in the background. Better shaved than furry!
Might want to look into getting one of the re-furb’ed Cray machines … run Scrivener in Windows in a virtual box.
That 80-core GPU should just be sufficient for Scrivener. Personally, I’d wait for the Q-Series chip.
Looks good! Just a friendly reminder that Scrivener is available on both Mac and Windows. If I were in your shoes, I’d also consider setting up a Windows workstation with similar capabilities to ensure you’re not solely relying on macOS.
You should be okay for 6-12 months with that. I’m worried that your peripherals might not be up to it, though.
