Windows bug: no editor background customization if page view active

Hello! I’m new to Scrivener (Windows) and I’m trying to customize the main editor, with no luck. The option that changes the background color of the editor (File - Options - Appearance - Main Editor - Colors - Fixed Width Background) works only if Page View is disabled (View - Text Editing - Page View). If Page View is active all the options of Appearence - Main Editor no longer work, and the only one to work is Appearence - Page View - Colors - Background, which however changes the color of both the page and the background. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to customize the main editor while keeping Page View active, or is a fix coming for windows soon? Thank you!
