Word Count Difference

I’m using the word count for my project, because I find it then becomes a good motivator. However, I’ve noticed when I get to the end of my session that there is a difference between the writing history score and the project session count. I’ve asked it to take account of any deleted/ negative words but the two dont seem to equate. I’m talking about the word count for 20 Jan where on the history its showing 377 and for the same session its showing 384 on the search bar at the top of the App for the Mac. Does anyone know of a clear reason why this is happening?

Stuart, I don’t know the answer to your question but surely glad you asked it as my question revolves around yours:

Anyone know two of my most wanted shortcuts? Word count on selection vs word count on notebook? Is so, I’d love to hear them. Might those help you too Stuart?
