Hi, my scrivener (all up to date) is not displaying word count at all but showing gibberish characters (squigly symbols) in the bottom center word count bar… any suggestion? 
Start by rebooting. If that doesn’t work, reinstall Scrivener. Make sure Scrivener is up to date.
I just uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version and it’s still bugging with the squiggly line as numbers instead
sigh! should i download like an older version?
