Word Count missing in Outliner

Hiya folks. I have been setting up my new copy of Scrivener in preparation for the upcoming NaNoWriMo event. The issue I have is that looking through the website, you can change the columns that are visible in the main window, when you have outline mode running, and one of the columns is Total Word Count. For the life of me I cannot work out how to add/delete etc any of the columns, so am left with the defaults: Title, Synopsis, Label and Status… I can change the width of the columns, but cannot add any new ones. Right clicking on the top bar would be the usual way to change stuff, but it does nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Cheers,

Andrew in Western Australia

Incidentally, I’m on 1.9.7.0 (6th Oct 16). Windows 10.

Hi Andrew –
Left click on the down block triangle just above the vertical scroll bar.

Fantastic, that got it.

Cheers.

Hey Jerome, thanks for that tip! Just when I think I know it all, I come here and learn something new.
