I’m participating in NaNoWriMo and I need the tracker in order to count my words for the day. My manuscript is stuck at around 80k but the new words that I am writing don’t show up in the word tracker but in something called Other. I’m writing directly in the manuscript I am sure of it. So why isn’t it working? I recently changed from Windows to the MacOS so maybe that is why this isn’t working.
Make sure that the specific document you’re writing in is included in the Compile group.

I made sure that my work was in the complie group but it still isn’t working. I tried writing in other chapters that I have and it counts the words fine, but this particular chapter it just refuses to count the words. And I checked my other documents and they all work fine.
