Howdy! I’ve been using Scrivener for five years and suddenly in the past few months my word count has stopped updating. I keep daily track of my word count and this feature is important to me. Thoughts?

Check and make sure that your wordcount isn’t set to reflect compile, and if your compile panel is currently set not to compile the whole of your draft. (Unchecking as per my screenshot fixes this ; you don’t have to change anything in the compile panel. – Although it depends what you actually want to be part of the count.)
There is writing history, which is independent. Never affected.
