William, that is indeed the key! Well said.
No backup is worth anything if it’s the only backup you have. Two are only slightly better if they are both in one spot. The nice thing about iDisk; Dropbox; etc is that by virtue of what they are, dragging a file into that folder puts your data in at least two spots, maybe more. For me, it adds it to three different computers that I own, and uploads it to a server located in another state, so that’s four copies—and finally TimeMachine comes along later and sweeps the location for a fifth copy—all with one single command that I made.

Or on open… or every time you force save. It will even manage these automatic backups in a dedicated spot (like iDisk or Dropbox) and rotate old ones out so the total number doesn’t get out of control.
