Yuvi Zalkow calls himself a 'failed writer," but he’s posted an excellent video on “Writing a Novel When Busy.”
It starts with slipping off to the restroom at your day job with your iPhone to take down ideas in SimpleNote and finishes with Scrivener exporting a finished manuscript. Along the way he takes a hilarious look at practical ways to redeem time that otherwise would be lost, telling how to collect ideas and sharpen them into a finished novel. He describes many of the same tools that others have been discussing on this forum, but does so in a way that’s vivid and memorable.
It’s about ten minutes long. Be sure to put the video in fullscreen mode to catch all the details.
