Wrong italics

Hi,

I just started testing RC 5 version and noticed a problem with IA Writer duospace font, It is displayed in italics although there is regular option of the font selected. It is not possible to change this and to use regular version of this font. I believe this is a minor issue, but it is possible that same thing is happening with some other fonts as well.

I do not notice this with the fonts I use (a limited selection, admittedly).

Hi Misa,

I just had a look at ‘your’ font, it is really not far from the monospaced font I’m using in Scrivener, which is the coders’ font Consolas that also comes with Windows and the Visual Studio IDE. If you want to give it a try, you can just download it for free from many places.

yes I know Consolas, but I am used to IA writer DS. Hope that bug can be fixed, because this font worked perfectly in older version of Scrivener.

Hi Misa, just to confirm, when you say that it worked in an older version of Scrivener, did you mean v1.9, or did you mean older version of the Windows Beta?
