Yet Another Scrivener Endorsement!

As a writer and editor, I find that lots of existing software (in particular, Microsoft Word) does not make it easy to cite sources. I’ve, however, discovered Scrivener, a fantastic researching and writing software that makes it easy for me, in my reporting and writing, to note where I got every single bit of information. Since discovering it, I’ve wondered how I ever kept notes and citations organized before.

Although I don’t know what type of software Jonah Lehrer used, my guess, from my dealings with other publications, is that he may have used Microsoft Word. If the publishing and media industries shifted to use of software that helps writers note their sources, we may see fewer of these kinds of problems. It would definitely help in book publishing and could even be useful in time-pressure situations such as reporting for the Web and newspapers.

Not being picky or owt but surely the ‘however’ means it must be ‘I have’ rather than ‘I’ve’.
