Help! The message above has just come up. I entered my license number but it said it wasn’t valid. I’ve been on Scrivener for many years, so don’t understand what’s going on. I tried to get my license number back and it wouldn’t let me do that either. I have a novel to deliver to a publisher in seven weeks and this is a bit desperate.
Please search the forums, or just scroll down the list of threads, to find one of the many other reports of this, and some suggestions. The background is that Scrivener had to change to a different license authentication server when the old one unexpectedly went out of business, and the new one has … problems … many problems. Hopefully once the work is done on the new Windows version, they’ll be able to look into this issue more thoroughly.
