Zoom to a specific percentage

Hi,

I’d like to be able to set the zoom to a specific percentage. The jump from 150 to 175 to 200% is too big in my opinion, I’d rather specify something like 160%.

I know I can change the font to change the text size, but that is not doable I think if one zooms in and out often and when a project has 100+ documents.

I believe there may be a technical limitation on custom zoom settings, but I’ll add it to the list for possible future implementation to see if it’s something we can do. Meanwhile remember you can change the formatting of multiple documents at once by selecting them and then choosing Documents > Convert > Formatting to Default Text Style. If you set your default text larger, you can apply that to all your documents quickly this way, while still choosing to preserve tabs, indentation, alignment, etc.

May I ask for an update? Would still love to zoom to a specific percentage.

Changing the font size doesn’t work for me, because I use different font sizes in my Scrivener documents.

Yes, this is a request that has often been made, by me and others. I hope that in the forthcoming Great Big Update (Scrivener for Windows 3) this will be included. But I don’t know.

Is there a topic by the way where I can find more information on Scrivener 3? I couldn’t find it with the search.

There have been statements that a new Windows version is under development, but no specific timeline (as is standard in software development). You can take a look at this thread and this one, but there aren’t details.
