It is very important for non-fictive writers to use software like zotero.
And I´m so sorry but actually I went back to use only my word-prozessor (MS Word) because I want not to have all the stress with the citations.
If citations will work like in Word or Libre Office. Scrivener would be the best writing program of the world.
I think it is worth the work (I am am programmer for myself).
For this feature I even would pay something
