1.7.3 for Linux?

Is there a 1.7.3. for Linux? I am losing footnotes under certain copying conditions and have seen that 1.7.3 for WIndows addresses at least one notes/copy issue.

N.B. The problem with loss of notes when cutting and pasting in native Linux does not occur when running under Wine.

AFAIK no, there isn’t. The last beta version is available on the top thread of this forum, currently being 1.7.2.3

Hi All, 1.7.2.3 is a hotfix for 1.7.2.2 in which there were PDF issues under Linux which are now fixed in the 1.7.2.3 release. Also, there have been some optimizations to the project loading speed. I am very grateful for the Linux version as it exists now. I am also a paid owner of a license for the WIndows verison. I greatly prefer working in Linux. Is it possible to learn whether the Linux version will soon benefit from the updates in the latest Windows version?
