Came across this excellent article about the myth of the 3 act structure, and how the 5 act structure is better. It’s written in the style of the HULK, but don’t let that put you off!

I agree with a lot of the points. With 3 act structure, that big middle bit seems so scary and daunting. A structure with more than 3 acts just makes a lot of sense to me.
