A very BIG wish Import and split

I’d say since other than the importing of final draft 8 FDX files is in the works, I have only one VERY big wish

IMPORT AND SPLIT would be very important to me.
It is no fun importing a complete novel, and then having to search for chapter 2, 3, etc etc etc

ASSIGN KEYSTROKE would be also cool, but if we get the FD8 IMPORT, then it would not be as important

Import & Split is already possible in the Mac version, so it will be coming to the Windows version ultimately as well.

I saw the tutorial for the MAC version of Import & Split and that’s why I put it on my wish list-- that and to be able to import a FINAL DRAFT file are my two big big wishes
with those two, I will be one happy Scrivener writer
Any ETA on those features?

FDX import/export is currently in the works, so it will be ready fairly soon in an update. I don’t know where import & split sits on the to-do list; right now, Lee’s focusing on bug-fixes.

the FDX is a very big deal for me, so I am delighted it’s coming soon.
