Accents on Scrivener for Windows (1.5.3.0)

I’m still having problems with accents. The steps to reproduce the error have been described in this post by Radek Piskorski: https://forum.literatureandlatte.com/t/accents-on-scrivener-for-windows/14471/1

Consider the following word (in Portuguese): “Português”.

I have trouble getting the “ê” character everytime the ^ accent is typed too quickly after the “u”.

As Radek pointed out, the time interval between ^ and “e” is not important, only the one between “u” and ^. If this interval is big enough, the accent appears; if it isn’t, it doesn’t.

The reason I’m pressing this point is because it’s really disruptive to the writing process, even more so because it happens when we are more in “flow”…

Lastly, I’d like to congratulate you for this beautiful piece of software.

I’m very sorry: I hadn’t seen this very recent post:

French accents sometimes not registering?!

I’ve been monitoring an old thread related to the subject and, as it was not active anymore, decided to start a new one in which the steps to reproduce the problem were more explicit.

Anyway, I’m glad to hear the problem has been located and will be solved soon.
