After critical hot fix update, Scrivener no longer opens

I can’t open Scrivener. I ran the critical hotfix update and now I can’t use Scrivener at all. How do I fix that? I paid for the program years ago. I don’t want to lose my license. And I want to be able to use Scrivener. :slight_smile:

UPDATE: If I click on the project to open it, it opens. Still can’t open from the icon, though.

I had this problem after updating. Once updated, I couldn’t run Scrivener.

I’m not sure, my problem was completely identical to yours, but for me it helped to reboot my computer. Once rebooted, Scrivener ran as normal. This happened to me both when updating to v.1.9.14.0 and v.1.9.15.0.
