theguardian.com/books/live/2 … capitalism
Just noticed this :unamused: on t’ Grurniad website. I’ve posted it here, by way of it being irrefutable proof positive, beyond all reasonable doubt and ditherence being both priori and posteriori. <-- :open_mouth:  Anyway … wotevva ('aven’t read it yet )

4-50pm. Just read the Q&A session and some of the comment section, too. Gorra nedache! Have to go back and reread it, see if it develops into a full blown migraine.

7pm Just finished watching this: youtube.com/watch?v=7bwK2vyLrLI I’ve developed a fond regard for Joseph Stiglitz, over the past few years. I believe him to be a genuine, decent human being. Definitely not given to hyperbole, like me. His constant reference to Adam Smith and his apparent perspicacity (Smith’s), concerning the pitfalls inherent in Capitalism, has me grinning like the proverbial Cheshire cat … cos my copy of our Adam’s The Wealth of Nations: Books 1-3, residing within touching distance from where I’m sitting, is sandwiched twixt copies of Robert Burton’s Anatomy of Melancholy and Dorothy. L Sayers’ translation of Dante’s Cantica 1: HELL, from his The Devine Comedy I’m not sure whether to seek any profound interpretation regarding their intimacy on t’shelf. Coincidence … I’m sure it is … init?! :open_mouth:
