- Can I set the language to American English?

Well, interestingly enough, I can tell you that it CAN be set to American English. At least, that’s what I appear to have set on mine. Unfortunately, I don’t know how it got set. However, when I type, “organization organisation center centre” it identifies organisation and centre as incorrectly spelled, so I’m assuming I’ve got the American English dictionary active.
I’d love to know how that happened on yours - I hope you wanted it that way?
Yes, I definitely wanted it that way. It was like that when I installed, so I was assuming it had something to do with my computer settings. If there’s anything I can do to capture why, let me know!
I just tested it out - my computer settings were set to British English. Switched it to American English and tried Scrivener again. It worked!
