Hello
Within any window (composition or normal) of Scrivener (under Santa Catalina) the italics is greyed and can’t be in invoked with command-i. The little pulldown sort of thing on the control bar does allow the change to italics, but since I write with a lot of foreign words in the text, this is NOT convenient. This is true with all fonts I have. I’ve restarted Scrivener, the computer etc.
