Attribution style

In Scrivener’s default styles I came across “attribution style.”

Having used CSS a lot in the past I am familiar with styles but never heard of that one.

I looked in the manual and didn’t find much. No examples of how it is used.

What exactly is “attribution style?” And what is it used for? An example would help.

I always thought of this as a “companion style” for quotes. Like in…

“Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.”
                                         – Very important author
