Background Darkmode

I just downloaded the new 1.4 version and put on dark mode but it doesn’t change background color (it stays white). will i still have to change the background for every project i work on or is this a bug?

The background does not dynamically change, as that would have an impact on all the rest of the board, but you can change the default settings if you more typically want to have a dark board. Ioa provided steps for that in this post, as well as a sample board with a nice colour theme you could check out (the post is for the Mac version, but the instructions are the same on Windows):

Oh, that’s normal! It’s not going to change your board appearance because there would be no good way of doing that dynamically. Think of it more like how Preview works with PDF in dark mode. The window, menus and everything are dark, but the PDF isn’t going to change. You can make dark themed boards and style sets though.
