Can I change the backup location if I have accidentally accepted the wrong location already?
Yes, in File > Options > Backup.

Two things to remember.
- Backup location should NEVER be in your project folder location.
- Backup location if zip backups should ideally be in a folder that is backed up by a cloud service if you use one or backup externally on a regular basis if you don’t.
Pick choose in image below and use explorer to pick a new backup folder.
