I’ve installed the 64-but Beta 42 under Crossover 19 on my Mac and it runs fine. I’ve yet to install Beta 43. I use it for when my collaborator asks me for help with something; any problems I have are down to unfamiliarity with things Windows … and having to workout how to get to our projects.
As she’s running 64-bit Windows 10, I haven’t bothered with 32-bit.
How did you get 64 bit running? I received an error and something about 32 bit only. As it was a quick install without any investigation of options just plowed with the 32. Would prefer to install 64.
Select an Application to Install > Browse All Applications
Unlisted application > Continue
Choose Installer file > Scriv…….exe (wherever you have saved it) >Use this Installer

Select Bottle > New Windows 7 64-bit Bottle > Change Bottle name (on right side of pane) > Continue
Click Install
I think if you don’t actively select the bottle, it defaults to a 32-bit Windows 7 Bottle and fails because your .exe is 64-bit.
Also, I think I once managed to install it on a Windows 10 64-bit Bottle, but it was flaky, if I remember rightly, whereas Windows 7 seems rock solid. I can also confirm that the Scrivener Betas are now exiting cleanly.
Thanks for that, I did a quick look and saw the missed step of selecting a 64bit bottle. already have it installed and just came back to kill the previous post
I installed Win 7 just because I prefer that to 10
