I want to suggest some features. I think this is where I am to do it.
It would be nice to have either color print and or highlight features on the LEFT hand Draft and Research Column so folders and titles could be differentiated. Now it is just simple print, unless I’ve missed something.
I can’t find anywhere to add text for describing the graphic images that I accumulate in the Research folders. That would be a good feature.
More suggestions to follow as I use the program. I like the program very much.

Not quite the right spot! I’ve moved this post to its own topic. The idea here is to start a new topic for all requests.
I’m not quite sure what you are getting at, but if you are wanting to label items in the Binder (that’s what the left-hand area is called), this will be a feature you can enable in the next version of Scrivener. You’ll also be able to make folders bold, which might also be what you are looking for here.
Make sure you have the Inspector open (Cmd-Opt-I). You can not only provide a short “index card” remark on the media, but you can also write vast quantities in the Notes area below that. This feature can be used for any type of media, even movies and PDF files.
Another thing you could do is write your comments into an ordinary text document and then create a link from that to the media, either by dragging it into the References list (also in the Inspector), or as a clickable hyperlink in the text itself. Another alternative is to drop the picture straight into a document and type around it.
Hopefully out of that you’ll find a method you prefer.
I think Amber has answered your questions, but just to add:
As Amber says, proper label colours will come with 2.0, but for now you can use View > Tint Icons with Label Color, which will at least colour the icons using the label colour.
Amber has covered amply all the options for adding descriptive text to an image.
Thank you. Very helpful. I was a bit embarrassed as I hadn’t read the written Tutorial in the HELP section before I made my suggestions. I’ve now done so and will do so many more times to fully understand and integrate this very useful program.
