Havent used it for a few months, opened up to work on one of my books - 50k words, and it is gone. Not in my docs. Open existing takes me to some PDF of an invite, Open recent says “clear menu” in faded out grey. HELP!
They’re probably still somewhere on your disk, just not listed in the “recent projects” menu.
Search your disk for files and folders ending in “.scriv” and/or “.scrivx”
If you need more help, it probably helps to mention which operating system and version of Scrivener you’re using.
Look at file> options > backup and you will see where your backups are saved.
Also file> show project folder ( pretty sure is menu) will show project location. All project folders should be in same place.
Please refer to §5.1.3, Opening Existing Projects, in the user manual PDF, which goes into how to find stuff that is no longer listed anywhere in the software. In particular you may even have a menu command that will bring up a system-wide search.
