Building a proper index (with page numbers)

Standard back matter Index sections contain a list of terms each followed by a list of the page numbers where the term is significantly discussed within the book. How do I set up my Scrivener project such that each index term is followed by the appropriate list of page numbers?

I have set up my Glossary/Index as a “Index” folder containing a separate document for each term to be indexed. Each of these index documents contains a unique ID and I have placed that same ID string in an In-line Annotation at the exact location of in each of my manuscript’s documents in which that term is significantly discussed. But how can I set up a compile such that the page numbers of each location annotated in this way are placed properly after each index term in my book’s index section?

As Ioa explained, here: Limitations on Number of Documents in Scrivener? - #6 by AmberV
Scrivener itself has no indexing features. You would need to handle this via LaTeX or another post-processing tool.

There are so many threads on this already, I don’t think there is much benefit in having another one, so I’m closing this.
