Bullet formatting breaking between Windows/Mac

Hello, I switch often between Mac and Windows (my projects are saved on a NAS so I can open on both). I use un-numbered bullet lists a lot, but the formatting often breaks when I switch from one OS to the other. The spacing and text wrapping gets completely borked, and sometimes the bullet shapes change (sometimes they don’t). To fix it I have to manually revert to no style, re-apply bullets, and then re-do the indentation levels.

[Not yet allowed to include images in my post, otherwise I would provide before/after screenshots.]

I know there used to be bullet-related bugs switching between Windows/Mac, but I thought this had been fixed in 3.5 (or another recent version). I am on the latest versions on both Windows and Mac. I’ve tried creating a style for bullets but it doesn’t seem to help.

Any help/tips appreciated!

Hi.
I have created a set of indented styles you could use.
And then you could manually insert the bullets. Use auto-replace,
something like /.. → • for example.
Ultimately, if there is no fix to your issue (with which I can’t otherwise help – I don’t really use lists, don’t own a Mac either), that could be a compromise.

My post with the downloadable indented styles.

You apply those to normal text, not to a list per se. It’ll make it look like a list.
(And it should survive the cross-platform transitions.)

Thank you, I’ll give this a try.
