The subject basically says it all: is there a (quick) way to convert document titles to text?
i.e. if I import a *.mm file Scrivener will create a structured outline with all items in the mindmap converted to document titles. Which is great. But I wonder if there is a way to easily change these titles to actual text? (sometimes I write pretty large pieces of text in my mindmap nodes which makes for really long titles when imported into Scrivener)
When Compiling, your Binder titles are used as text when the âTitleâ Content Type checkbox in the Section Layouts Pane of the Compile Format Designer is ticked.
You can also Compile an Outline from the Binder sections using one of three Scrivener Formats to turn your Binder Titles into text.
You might consider looking at the export options in your mindmap application to see if it gives you other choices.
I know it works when compiling. I was just wondering if there was something similar to the âconvert inline comments to inspector commentsâ but then âconvert titles to inline textâ.
I wasnât using any export options from the mindmap application, because Scrivener provides a native import option for my preferred format.
Right, Iâm just thinking that might give you more output flexibility.
