Can I count how many documents have a specific status

I use document status to tell me how close to completion a document is - notes, draft, completed, revise etc. I must have about 250 documents in my project, nested in folders and sub-folders. Is there some way to count them accurately? and some way to count how many of them have each status - completed, draft etc?

Ideally, what I’d like is a one-click report, showing how many cards in the draft have each status.

Hi.

If you click on a document in the binder, and then Ctrl-A, this will select them all.
Then, set the editor to display as Outliner view.

You can then sort your document by statuses.

(The screenshot above shows how to reveal the column ; sort by clicking on the column’s header.)

Then, if you select in the Outliner view all the documents of a specific status (click the topmost one, shift-click the last one), at the bottom you’ll see “X of Y items”.

In this case it would mean that out of 8 items (the document count in your project, since you’ve preselected them all in the binder), 3 are currently selected (thus of the target status).
