Hi, lost my ipad. Got a new ipad pro. operating software up to date. When I try to access Scrivener files on the ipad, i get a spinning wheel but the file never opens. Tried logging into Dropbox via a web browser, but that didn’t help.
Since it’s a new iPad, the first thing I would check is to make sure that it can correctly login to your Dropbox account, and that you’ve configured the correct synchronization folder.
The free tier of dropbox has a limit of 3 new devices, with old devices being grandfathered in. If you have the free tier you may need to change with devices can access dropbox.
In particular, be sure to deauthorize the old iPad. Not just to free up a slot, but also as a security measure. You don’t want a device that’s not in your control to have access to your data.
