Apologies if I missed it somewhere, but I’m setting up a second computer and I’m having trouble getting Scrivener to recognize where the Support Folder is, e.g. the one listed under Scrivener > Reveal Support Folder in Finder.
Thanks,

Are you saying that command doesn’t work? If you want to change it … I don’t think you can, and why would you?
Thanks for the comment/question.
Owing I believe to the age difference between my two Macs, the reported Support Folders are in completely different places on the two Macs. In the source Mac, the Source Folder is located in:
whereas in the newer target Mac, the Source Folder is located in:
Macintosh HD > Users > 'user id' > Library > Application Support > Scrivener
Given the significant differences between the locations of the two Source Folders, I’m wondering how the location of the Source Folders is determined in the first place.
Do you know for certain that the Source Folder is immutable?

Mac OS defines a place for Application Support materials. What that place is has security implications for the entire system: applications need to be able to change their own support materials, but they’re not allowed to change a different application’s support materials. So Mac OS puts all of these materials in a pre-defined area.
It might be possible to change it by using operating system tools, but it’s definitely not changeable within Scrivener.
Why do you care, though? Trying to transfer a complete installed copy of Scrivener between machines is not something we recommend to begin with, because the installation includes some machine-specific parameters. Rather, we recommend using Scrivener’s tools to export your settings on one machine, and then re-import them on the other.

Hi kewms and drmajorbob,
My apologies … I was pursuing the wrong issue … turns out the problem was a change in my Mac < user id > on the target Mac that I needed to incorporate into my LaTeX code … the \graphicspath{ } command.
With the correct \graphicspath{ } I’m now in business, and typesetting the code is flying on the target Mac … what used to take 35-40 minutes now typesets in just over two (2) minutes … Wow! What a difference the M2 makes!
Again, apologies for the false alarm …
