Cannot parse RTF file

I am attempting to use Scrivener for the first time on my laptop that is running Windows Vista.

When I attempt to begin the tutorial, it asked me to name a file and I did, but it will not open and I get an error that states: “Cannot parse RTF file.” When I click “OK”, the tutorial opens and it is blank. I can see all of the headings but there is no content on the pages.

Several other users have gotten this bug as well on various project’s; Lee’s looking into it, but we’re still trying to find the trigger. Meanwhile, try just closing the tutorial and then reopening it–that’s worked for some other users.
