Can't add website to research folder

Whenever I try to add a website to the research folder, It fails with an error message “could not retrieve content at address”. I’ve tried all options of adding a site like “PDF from Microsoft word” etc. I just recently updated scrivener to 1.9.9.0 and before the update I don’t think I had any issues with importing web pages. I can’t wait until Scrivener 3 for windows comes out!

Specs:

Scrivener 1.9.9.0 (just recently updated)
Windows 10 Pro

Thanks for the reply. Yes, that’s how I’ve been doing it, converting the website to a PDF and then importing it to scrivener’s research folder. It’s a pain in the neck, but this will have to do for now until Scrivener 3 for windows comes out. C’mon guys release it soon. You have so many eager customers waiting! :slight_smile:

Same here. Why doesn’t it work for Windows? No excuse.
