Have been using Scrivener over a year now with no issues. Just went to work on a project, am unable to make comments, take snapshots and the drop down menus for the toolbar have randomly changed to floating mid-screen. Can anyone help? Thanks!
The first thing to check is whether a new test project has these same issues. I would suggest trying with the “Blank” template, as that is the simplest possible starting point.
After that, if this also has problems, a quick reinstall from a fresh download is a routine troubleshooting step. If you have customised Scrivener a great deal, be sure to back up your settings first, via the Manage... button in the lower left of the Options window.
