Now and then when I create a table or copy/paste a table from another part of my document, I can’t get my cursor to get to a new line after the table at the bottom. It appears to be on the next line after the table, but when I type, the text goes to the bottom right cell of the table above; hitting works like hitting return in the table, making the last row taller. Any ideas?
Try selecting the whole table, then cut it, then create an extra line space and paste the table above the line space, so that there is an empty line below the table. Unfortunately we currently rely on the tables provided by the standard OS X text system (the same as found in TextEdit), and this is one of many of their little “quirks”.
