Can't signin to dropbox on iOS

Hi, I need a little advice before a trip. I just bought the iOS version to use on an iPad 3 running iOS 9. But when I follow the directions to use the sync button to link dropbox, the dropbox “sign in” screen is not working: the buttons to “sign in with google” or just “sign in” are light blue and non-responsive, even after entering my dropbox account email and password, I’ve tried this several times in different ways and after closing and reopening the app but neither button is active, so this maybe a bug with the ipad version.

(By the way, I do not have the dropbox app installed because it’s not ios 9 compatible, even though scrivener is. But I don’t think that’s the issue, because according to my reading of the support article, scrivener sync is supposed to work whether or not you have dropbox app installed. Plus at this point in the sync process there has not been a reference to linking to the dropbox app, just to dropbox. In addition, I’ve check on someone’s iphone who doesn’t have the dropbox app installed and scrivener’s dropbox sync sign-in page buttons are responsive and working fine there.)

Any ideas about:

  1. How to get the dropbox sign in to work?
  2. Or any alternate way to transfer my scrivener windows project to ios. That would be fine as well since I’ll be using the iOS version exclusively for the next six months and could then transfer it back.

Are you able to sign in to your Dropbox account by other means, for instance using a web browser? If not, then you should contact Dropbox support.

You can transfer projects directly to your iPad via iTunes file sharing.

Thanks, Katherine. Yes, my dropbox account is working fine. It just seems to be an issue with that sign in page, and only on my ios9 ipad 3, not on an iphone 8 with current ios. But thankfully your itunes tip met my need and I now have transferred my windows scrivener file to my ios scrivener app.
