Caret position when opening document

Hi, when opening a document with text, the caret always go to the end of the text (latest position of writing). Can one change that behavior so the caret is at the beginning of the text when opening a document? I thought I had read instructions for how to do that somewhere in the past but having searched high and low, I cannot find them. (Was it an option in earlier version? I am now using Version: 3.0.0.0 (1238528) 64-bit - 23 Mar 2021)

this is default Scrivener behavior so if come back you start where you left off.
Try the Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Home to get to top of the document with the caret.

Thanks - that’ll do. (NB: It’s Ctrl+Home - with shift it selects.)
